Judi Goldfader begins new chapter as WISH Board Chair

As we welcome Judi Goldfader to her new role as WISH Board Chair, we are honored to be guided by a respected community leader whose commitment to health, philanthropy, and service spans more than 35 years.
A long-time member and board member of Women Investing in Science & Health (WISH), Judi was first introduced to the organization by co-founder Rebecca Ailes-Fine. Her connection to WISH is deeply personal—as a 22-year breast cancer survivor, a mother of a teenage daughter, and a caregiver to a mother with advanced dementia. These lived experiences shape her belief in evidence-based care, informed decision-making, and the power of collective philanthropy to improve health outcomes for women and families.
Professionally, Judi currently serves as Director of Development for the Heard Museum, following more than a decade at Arizona Science Center. She is known for fostering sustainable growth and transformative change—exceeding goals through disciplined fundraising strategies, inspiring campaigns, a strong culture of philanthropy, and mentoring teams to support both individual and collective success.
A long-time Phoenix resident, Judi brings a deep understanding of the local philanthropic landscape and trusted relationships with many of the Valley’s stewards and civic leaders. She is a mission-driven leader who believes in clear vision, proactive problem-solving, continuous learning, and joy in the work. Her leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, accountability, and aligning people and resources to advance mission and strengthen community impact.
“WISH reflects the power of women partnering with Banner to support informed philanthropy and better health outcomes. As Board Chair, I’m excited to welcome women who are curious, engaged, and ready to be part of this impactful community.”
— Judi Goldfader
In addition to her professional work, Judi serves the community as a board member of Two Pups Wellness Fund and has been recognized for her civic involvement through roles and honors such as Phoenix Youth and Education Commission member, Charter 100 Arizona member, and Athena Award nominee.
As WISH Board Chair, Judi looks forward to building on the organization’s strong foundation—supporting innovation in science and health care, empowering members through trusted education, and investing collectively to create meaningful, lasting impact for women and families across Arizona.
