Partners in Wellness featuring the Arizona Coyotes Foundation

05/12/2021

Banner Health Foundation and Banner Alzheimer's Foundation gratefully acknowledge new gifts of $10,000 or more from corporations, foundations, and local community groups that have invested in our organization in the past year through the Partners in Wellness program.

We recently sat down with the Arizona Coyotes Foundation to learn more about them and their support of Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center.

What does the Arizona Coyotes Foundation hope to accomplish through their philanthropy?

The Arizona Coyotes Foundation seeks to enhance the quality of life throughout Arizona communities by supporting nonprofit organizations that promote healthcare, education, economic empowerment and cultural arts programs for children and servicemen and women. We are dedicated to health and wellness programs that stimulate the growth of youth sports and financially supporting programs that encourage teamwork skills while building future leaders in our community.

How does a charitable investment in the Diamond Children’s PlayZone align with your organization’s culture and goals?

Our organization views the Diamond Children’s PlayZone as a space for kids to grow and create memories, which provides a bit of normalcy during their hospital stay, as well an activity and resource to families within our community. Our culture is intertwined with sport and activity, which manifests perfectly with this project. The sum is greater than the parts and this collaboration is an example of that mindset.
