The Women Inspiring Scientific Progress (WISP) giving circle invites you to join them for a virtual presentation on Epidemics: Intersection of Opioid Overdoses, COVID-19 and Race. Dr. Luke Peterson, who helped found the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program for Women & Infants at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, will discuss the state of opioid overdoses in 2020 amidst the backdrop of long-standing racial inequities and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
