Banner Health Foundation and Banner Alzheimer's Foundation gratefully acknowledge new gifts of $10,000 or more from corporations, foundations, and local community groups that have invested in our organization in the past year through the Partners in Wellness program.
We recently sat down with Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment to learn more about them and their support of Banner Health Foundation during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
What initially drew you to support Banner Health Foundation during COVID-19?
The Banner Health Foundation has done critical work supporting vaccination sites in both the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas. It made sense to partner with the Foundation since we have strong ties to both communities.
How does this charitable investment align with Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment’s philanthropic goals?
Part of our mission at Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment is to give back to the communities that make our success possible. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have prioritized supportive efforts to combat the virus and help those impacted by this public health crisis.
What does Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment hope to accomplish through their investment in Banner Health Foundation?
We understand the only way forward is to ensure that as many people as possible are vaccinated. Through our partnership with Banner Health Foundation, we worked to ensure a faster end to this crisis by supporting the administration of safe, effective vaccines.
