Partners in Wellness featuring Starlight Children’s Foundation

Banner Health Foundation and Banner Alzheimer's Foundation gratefully acknowledge new gifts of $10,000 or more from corporations, foundations, and local community groups that have invested in our organization in the past year through the Partners in Wellness program.

We recently sat down with Starlight Children’s Foundation to learn more about them and their support of Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center. In the last 10 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation has contributed to and partnered with Diamond Children’s Medical Center to help make hospital stays and visits less daunting for children.

What do you hope to accomplish through your philanthropy?

Starlight Children’s Foundation aims to deliver happiness to every hospitalized child across the country. Since 1982, Starlight has helped transform the in-hospital experience for seriously ill children and their families through innovative programs like Starlight Gaming, Virtual Reality and Spaces.

What has been the best outcome of your partnership with the Banner Health Foundation?

From Starlight Deliveries to Starlight Spaces, Starlight is thrilled that we can partner with Banner Health Foundation to bring much needed smiles to hospitalized children.

What initially drew you to supporting Diamond Children’s Medical Center?

Starlight is grateful to have Diamond Children’s Medical Center as one of our hospital partners. We love that our programs can provide a bit of fun and normalcy for Diamond Children’s Medical Center’s youngest patients as they experience stressful moments.
