Formerly University of Arizona Medical Center – South Campus, BUMCS is a comprehensive medical center with an Emergency department, a state-designated trauma center, and a Behavioral Health Pavilion. 

BUMCS is an Arizona Department of Health Services-accredited Cardiac Receiving Center and a “senior-friendly” hospital as designated by the national organization Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE). Specialty services include inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, treatment and education for diabetes, innovative geriatrics care, and comprehensive orthopedics.

Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center

Offering a bright, healing environment where children feel safe while receiving the advanced care they need from the pediatric specialty physicians and researchers of the University of Arizona Steele Children's Research Center, as well as community pediatric physicians.

UA Cancer Center at Banner – University Medicine North

Cancer patients receive personalized and compassionate treatment using state-of-the-art techniques. Services include biologic therapies, medical oncology, pediatric cancer care, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and supportive care, including individual therapy and support groups. Banner Alzheimer’s Institute – Tucson

Having established a new standard of care for patients and caregivers dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute and the University of Arizona are now combining their expertise in dementia care for the benefit of Tucson and Southern Arizona residents.
