The Banner Ball, the Banner Health Foundation's signature annual fundraising gala, brought together some 800 community members for an unforgettable evening of impact and inspiration on Nov. 1.

Thanks to Co-Chairs Mari Lederman and Suzi Hilton, along with a dedicated Host Committee, the Ball raised more than $3.3 million for Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Arizona. These funds will support a range of critical needs, including patient care, research and clinical trials, technology, supportive services for patients and survivors, and community outreach.

Guests arrived in style for the black-tie affair, enjoying an indoor-outdoor cocktail reception as the sun set on a beautiful 85-degree day. Decked out in elegant black and gold Art Deco inspired décor, the ballroom was buzzing with energy as guests dined on a superb three-course meal. Master of Ceremonies and professional comedian Craig Shoemaker got the crowd laughing early with his signature blend of humor and heart. A highlight of the evening was the presence of former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald Jr. and the announcement of a $1 million gift from The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation to support Banner MD Anderson's breast cancer program. In recognition of this generous contribution, the Carol Fitzgerald Breast Health Center is now open at Banner MD Anderson in downtown Phoenix, honoring Larry's late mother Carol, who passed away from breast cancer in 2003.

The physician honorees—Dr. David M. Paul, Dr. Emily Grade, and Dr. Matthew Ulrickson—received well-deserved recognition for their unique blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care that has earned each of them the deep respect of their patients and colleagues.

Presenting Sponsor CureIS and Platinum Sponsor Arizona College of Nursing provided exceptional support for the evening, joining donors whose time, presence, and philanthropic commitment made this milestone event possible.

The evening included a lively paddle raise to support the cause, followed by a festive after party with dancing to live music by The Hamptons and late-night snacks.
