Any community member who hosts fundraising events, organizes assembly of patient kits, sponsors toy drives, or works to raise funds and awareness for Banner Health programs and patients throughout Arizona, is a Community Champion.

We're thrilled you have chosen to become one of Banner Health Foundation's Community Champions! We're looking forward to learning more about your ideas and discussing the ways we can work together to make your fundraising event a success. Whether you're a fundraising pro or a first-timer, we're ready to help you get your ideas off the ground.

Every dollar makes a difference

The Banner Health Foundation won't ask for a minimum fundraising amount. We are always impressed by the work of our Community Champions and they often exceed their goals! For first-time fundraisers, a goal of $500 is a great place to start.

Choose a cause close to your heart Here are just a few of the Banner Health areas you can choose to support with your fundraising efforts.

Navigating Memory Loss Gifts to the Banner Alzheimer's Foundation are focused on the groundbreaking research and care that will get us to the goal of ending Alzheimer’s before another generation is lost. Your fundraiser can also support dementia care for Tucson and Southern Arizona residents.	Destination Centers for Care The Banner – University Medicine Institutes bring together signature clinical programs delivering high-value, coordinated, and specialized clinical care. Support any of a dozen institutes with the dollars you raise.	Finding Tomorrow’s Cures Banner Research conducts high-quality clinical trials and other medical research into Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cardiovascular disease, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and cancer.

The Power of Music The Banner Hospice Music Therapy program helps patients cope with their illnesses. Gifts to this fund are currently matched 50 cents on the dollar by President & CEO, Peter S. Fine and his family.	Banner Children's Raise funds for Banner Children’s at Desert, Banner Children’s at Thunderbird, or Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center (Tucson). Or choose to benefit a Banner Children's program like Child Life, Hospital School, playrooms, Community Clinics, or Toy Closets.	A Home Away from Home When patients travel great distances seeking hope at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, lodging can become a financial burden. Support for the Patient Housing Assistance Endowment helps patients and their families find a home away from home.
