While the U.S. grapples with a maternal and infant health crisis and the rate of preterm births increase in Arizona, March of Dimes is launching a NICU Family Support® Program to support families throughout their pregnancy journey and raise critical funds to improve health outcomes for moms and babies.

Maricopa County recently awarded the Banner Health Foundation $1.2 million to expand its Career Pathways for Essential Frontline Healthcare Workers program for entry-level staff. The program offers job shadowing, mentorships opportunities, and support services such as transportation and childcare to help employees gain skills and experience to move into essential frontline health care roles.

The Arizona Lottery recently presented a $50,000 Gives Back Sponsorship check to the Banner Health Foundation. The funds will help cover the costs of sports physicals and concussion testing for over 1,500 underserved high school athletes through Banner’s “Game On: Youth Athlete Support Fund.”
