American Cancer Society helping Banner patients undergoing cancer treatment

The cost of transportation and lodging is concerning for many patients and families who travel from outside the Valley to receive cancer care at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. In some cases, these financial and logistical challenges are a barrier to receiving necessary care or adhering to medical protocols. Fortunately, American Cancer Society (ACS) provides crucial funding for cancer patients in need.

Gifts support Cardiovascular training fellowships at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix

The Banner Health Foundation recently received gifts from Abbott Laboratories, Edwards Lifesciences and Medtronic to support Cardiovascular training fellowships in Electrophysiology and Structural Heart. These fellowships prepare physicians to provide high-value care to diverse patients in ambulatory care, hospital medicine, or an internal medicine subspecialty.
